Last day on Åland

Ferry back to Sweden

Thomas'sapartment 

Bo helped us out with the last minute stuff. We visited Hans-Erik (Bo, Tryggve and Gladys' eldest brother) and his wife, Miguel. They set out glass (ice cream) for us and Hans-Erik gave us a tour of their lovely home. So thankful to meet these family memebers!! Such great people. 

We had our library experience!! Finally, we could find children books in Swedish - our level of reading... Maybe a little advanced. :) After that. Bo took us to lunch before our sad farewell. 

It was so sad to see Bo standing there, watching us leave him as we walked down the ferry terminal! We are praying for your heart. :) and hope all goes well with the surgery!

Åland has some of the best people on it! You should all consider visiting this group of islands - 6,500. It is completely gorgeous and we are counting down the time to be able to return. Such beauty and great people!!! Our hearts hurt to leave but we know we will be back and feel absolutely blessed to be a part of such a wonderful family!

Gladys and Jan-Olvo picked us up from the bus station and brought us to Thomas' city apartment...we almost broke in. ;)
